Group Felicitates With Edolites On New Year, Talks About Engr. Ogiemwonyi’s Qualities

Comrade Momorin said: “My prayer is that in this year 2024 heaven shall shower its bounties on everyone. There would be no shortage or loss. For those who believe in better days coming so shall it be. Our sufferings will be terminated and we will echo the goodness of God with sweet testimonies of what He has done in our lives and in the political space.”

He also spoke about the reactions he got on his group’s choice of Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi as a credible choice for the Edo State governorship position in the election coming up in September.

“I got lots of calls from different quarters on the Masses Eye’s choice of Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi as a credible choice for the Edo State governorship seat in 2024. Some of the callers were mischievous saying that our endorsement must have been influenced by pecuniary considerations.

“Such callers were only bending the truth in favour of ill adviced considerations. Engr. Ogiemwonyi is a man that served in the ‘juicy’ oil sector for over 30 years and retired without blemish. Rather he got lots of recommendations and kudos for his attitude to work.

“Is it not proper that he be given due consideration in the choice of who governs Edo State and is thus entrusted with our common patrimony. Does a man who has shown his ability to manage resources – humans and materials – on a national scale be subject to the schemings of moneybags when it comes to been considered for governorship position?

“Posterity will judge us badly if we make a wrong move in 2024. This is our time to get it right. We may never be opportuned to have another Engr. Ogiemwonyi in our midst in years to come.”
