Who Collected The N80bn Approved By Buhari For Reconstruction Of Sapele-Benin, Other FG Road Projects In Edo?

  • Why is the FG and agencies responsible for fixing Federal Roads in Edo Silent on the issues?

IN the last 48 hours, the Federal Government and its agencies whose core mandates include fixing the critical road infrastructures in Edo State have remained silent even after the issues have remained major topic of discussion on social media platforms and the main stream media channels.

Aside Governor Godwin Obaseki, individuals and groups have accused the federal ministry of works and housing of preventing them from carrying out palliatives on these roads that have continued to account for the loss of lives and properties.

It is curious why concerned Edo people and Nigerians are calling out the Federal government to salvage the situation, some few individuals such as John Mayaki and Kassim Afegbua have continued to make desperate attempts to distract Edo people and Nigerians from demanding for who collected the money approved by former President Buhari to fix the federal roads.

The actions of Mayaki and Afegbua go to show that someone among the APC big wigs in Edo must have pocketed the money allocated to fix these roads.

One will wonder why until this very moment that the Federal Government and the agencies responsible to fix the roads have remained silent on the issues while the likes of Mayaki are busy making failed attempts to make it seem as if it is the responsibility of the Edo State Government to fix the road.

But I know my Edo people are wiser to see through their antics and we demand to know among other things:

who collected the money to fix the federal roads in Edo and why is FG silent in responding to the plight of Edo people?
