LETTER OF CONGRATULATIONS
Chief Solomon Edebiri, one of the aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last governorship primaries has congratulated the governor elect, Mr. Godwin Obaseki
In a communique personally signed by Edebiri on Thursday also congratulated Edo sons and daughters for the roles they all played.
He stated that the emergence of Obaseki would reshape Edo State and would ensure that the ongoing projects continued.
Edebiri said “My dear Godwin Obaseki; GO (Governor Elect, Edo State), I want to join all the well meaning sons and daughters of Edo land along with numerous friends of Edo State to congratulate you on your election as the Governor of Edo State. I have no doubt in my mind that come 12th November you will commence the process to reposition Edo State ensuring that you do not abort the ongoing projects. As you embark on another progressive journey for Edo people, be rest assured of our support where and when needed at all times.
“May I also use this opportunity to congratulate all Edo sons and daughters who participated in the elections. For me, weather your party lost or won, you are all winners. Indeed we all won. I urge the victors to be moderate in celebration and those on the other side to take the result in good faith.
“Once again Mr Governor-elect, Congratulations my brother.”
