THE Edo State Government, through the Ministry of Road and Bridges, will temporarily put a close to access into 1st Ugbor Road and UU drive access road both in Oredo local government of the state to pave the way for construction work of the streets, that would be carried out from Monday the 20th of May to 20th of June, 2024.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner of Roads and Bridges, Ethan Uzamere, residents and motorists are, by this announcement, advised to make use of alternative routes within the area to avoid any form of congestion and obstruction during the period of construction work on the roads.
Mr. Ethan Uzamere, however, pleaded with residents in the area and road users in general to see the inconveniences the closure of the roads would cause them as their support to the unwavering commitment of the Edo State government to bring more dividends of democracy.
