FREEPRESS — The Clan head of the Osula Royal Family in the Benin Kingdom, Chief Iyeke Osula, yesterday declared that the governorship candidate of the PDP, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu does not have the required contact and influence that will attract investors who will help in sustaining the developmental strides of the Governor Adams Oshiomhole led administration.
Chief Osula who led hundreds of his supporters, traders from New Building Materials Association, Lagos Street Traders’ Association, Ute Market Development Association, Tyres Dealers Association, Electrical Material Dealers Association and others to the APC at a rally in Benin City.
He described the PDP as a dishonest party that cannot be trusted by the people. According to him, “Ize-Iyamu is not in the same class with Godwin Obaseki the APC candidate.
I left the PDP because it is a party in darkness. It cannot win any election in the state again. Pastor Ize-Iyamu is my uncle but I left him because he is not honest. He is not transparent, and he does not have the connection that will help accelerate development of this state.
