Edo Citizens Mock Governor Obaseki Over Disappearance Of N5b Agric Loan From Central Bank

CITIZENS of Edo State mockingly jabbed Governor Godwin Obaseki over his failed farms projects in the three Senatorial Districts of the state.

Three years ago, the governor obtained N5b Agric loans from Central under the watch of Godwin Emefele which was allegedly shared by him and his cronies in government.

“Where’s the rice and maize farms in Sobe, Usugbenu, Warrake, Egbede and in Akoko-Edo?

“Can we say that the over N670m Obaseki spent on meals in three months that the rice and ‘Agbado’ from the farms were part of it?

“As you go to the market this December to buy Rice, please do not blame Tinubu if the price of rice is too expensive.

*Before you abuse Federal government for the high cost of Rice in the market, remember that Governor Godwin Obaseki was given 5 billion Naira loan by CBN, under Godwin Emiefele; to grow and produce Rice, but until now, we did not see any rice grown nor produced in Edo state by the Godwin Obaseki’s government.

“If only we have ”Edo Rice” grown and produced by Edo state government with the 5 billion Naira, we would have gotten cheaper rice to buy in Edo state, this Christmas, just like it’s happening in Lagos state and few other states in Nigeria.

“Governor Obaseki, where is our N5 billion Naira?, another citizen agonized before Trojan News Media Correspondent in Benin City.
