Dr. Uyi Oduwa-Malaka Congratulates Pa Omogbai On His Emergence As Onotare Ozalla

THE Edo State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Uyi Oduwa-Malaka, has congratulated Pa Omogbai Nathaniel Igelugbo, on his emergence as the new Onotare of Ozalla.

In a statement personally signed by the Honourable Commissioner and made available to newsmen in Benin City, she described his elevation to the Onotare royal stool as “an opportunity to serve his people and use his wealth of knowledge to promote the progress and development of the community and beyond.

“I urge you to continue the legacy of uniting and rallying the Ozalla people towards the sustenance of peace and development.

“I want to specially use this opportunity to convey the Governor’s warm greetings to the new monarch and the entire people of Ozalla.
The Governor remains confident that this ascension to the highly celebrated Ozalla stool, will no doubt, be beneficial to the Ozalla Communication.

“Let me reassure you that, the Governor remains committed to ensuring a smooth and peaceful succession process.

“Receiving your appointment letter as the Clan Head (Onotare) of Ozalla, is a call to service, as there is now urgent need strengthen our traditional institutions.

“This significant development in the Ozalla community in Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State, will ultimately unite our people and make us stronger.

“As a worthy daughter of Ozalla and with this new responsibility, Ozalla anticipates a future marked by unity, prosperity, and collective progress under his royal leadership.”

The “Onotare of Ozalla”, is the oldest titled Chief in the clan.
