Dr Odubu At 67: Osagie, Washington, Osawaru, Others Felicitates Ex- Edo Deputy gov
THE former deputy governor of Edo stayte, Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu, was on Monday described as a man of integrity whose character has been his remarkable attribute, which even his traducers have failed to fault.
This remark was contained in a goodwill message on his 67th birthday by Dr. Samson Osagie, former minority whip in the House of Representatives and Dr. Washington Osifo, former commissioner for education under Comrade Adams Oshiomole.
Dr. Samson Osagie, an Abuja based lawyer And Vice President African Bar Association(West Africa Region writes, “On this momentous occasion of his birthday, we congratulate him for yet another milestone on the ladder of life and urge him to continue in consolidating his strengths and social capital. Happy Birthday Sir, ex. Federal Lawmaker and ex Deputy Governor of Edo State. May God almighty grant you many more years of celebrations in good health and sound mind.”
On his part, Washington Osa-Osifo said Dr. Prius Odubu has provided uncommon and purposeful leadership and his people, even at the expense of his comfort and advancement, with all sense of equanimity.
“It is instructive for me to put it on record on this auspicious occasion that your meekness at all times is salutary and legendary, comparable only to that of the biblical Moses.
“You remain a reservoir of knowledge, wisdom and candour from which we continue to draw from as occasion demands. In summary, you are the true definition of intellectualism wrapped in the garb of meekness.
“May God continue to uphold you with his hand of righteousness. May God answer your prayers. May God continue to increase you on all sides and grant you longevity in good health in Jesus name. “
Chief Billy Osawaru, the member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal constituency at the House of Representatives said Dr. Odubu is a bridge builder and a unifier with a golden heart, who is committed to peacebuilding.
“It is that time of the year when I have the rare opportunity to truly appreciate you for being a pragmatic source of inspiration to me and thousands of emerging leaders who are students of your political ideology.
“You are a worthy leader, one of a kind, who over the years has built a character that is very consistent with your reputation. As a true party man that you are, we can only draw lessons from your political disposition to issues.
