Nigeria Lawyer-Douglas Ogbankwa Esq. and his client -Kelvin Uyi Martins have written to the National Broadcasting Commission to stop the reprehensible and unconscionable conduct of what they call quack online broadcast stations who defame people online on Facebook,YouTube , WhatsApp and other Social Media Platforms.
This is in reaction to an interview granted by Nosa Eghe and his crew with one Sandra Palmer Agho , who lied to the broadcasters that her name is Sandra Palmer Martins ,with out any proof whatsoever
The Petition titled A CASE OF A BREACH OF THE NATIONAL BROADCASTING CODE AND UNPPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT BY ONE NOSA EGHE OPERATING UNDER THE NAME AND SYTLE OF TMC MEDIA, stated inter alia :
That one Eghe Nosa, who claims to be Broadcaster, operating a purported online Television (We do not know if he had a license to operate) called TMC Media-08023359894 together with his staff, brought one Sandra Palmer Agho to their Office at No. 7, Numa Numa Avenue Off Aikhiondare Street, G.R. A, Benin City, with a followership of about 133 thousand followers on Facebook and other Followers on Youtube, made outright false, defamatory, damaging and demeaning comments about our clients respectively ,like that our client that is a lawyer “ being a member of “Nigeria Beer Association”, that our client a lawyer used thugs to terrorize one Sandra Palmer Agho, a statement he and others in the studio knows to be false and that our client that is a Lawyer – Douglas Ogbankwa Esq, got a fake Interpol investigation Report among other false allegations online on the TMC Online platforms, when the said Nosa Eghe is a friend to our client-Douglas Ogbankwa , knows our client and has his phone numbers. Nosa Eghe did not call our client – Douglas Ogbankwa to give his own side of the story, which is unprofessional and quack attitude is flagrant breach of the National Broadcasting Code.
The Petition also stated that :
That the said Nosa Eghe and others orchestrated Sandra Palmer Agho to falsely state that our client- Kelvin Uyi Martins stole his own Son and ran to Denmark , when they know our client is a Dannish Citizen , who lives in Denmark and they also falsely stated that our client-Kelvin Uyi martins collected the sum of N500,000,000:00k (Five Hundred Million Naira ) , as payments from the estate of his late wife ,with out any evidence whatsoever, a fact Nosa Eghe, Sandra Palmer Agho and others know to be false, but they through his so called TMC Media, broadcast it to the whole world, without getting the reactions of those falsely alleged in the defamatory broadcast , in breach of the National Broadcasting code
Contacted for Comments Douglas Ogbankwa Esq., gave a terse statement as follows :
Whether Nosa Eghe , Sandra Plamer and their cohorts , some of whom are Lawyers , are brought to justice or justice is brought to them , make no mistake about this , Justice will be done in this matter .The wheel of justice grinds slowly, but surely
