THREE men in South Africa are facing charges of premeditated murder after being accused of killing two women and feeding their bodies to pigs on a Limpopo farm. The accused, Zachariah Johannes Olivier, Andrian Rudolph de Wet, and William Musora, appeared in court on Tuesday. The gruesome incident has sparked widespread public outrage.
The killings allegedly occurred after a dairy truck dumped expired goods on the farm. Victims Locadia Ndlovu and Maria Makgatho reportedly trespassed onto the property to collect discarded items when they were shot by the men. A third individual, a man accompanying the women, was injured but managed to escape and alert authorities. Police later found the women’s decomposed bodies in a pigsty.
The accused face multiple charges, including two counts of premeditated murder and attempted murder. Musora, a Zimbabwean national, also faces charges related to illegal immigration. Several political parties protested outside the court, demanding the men be denied bail.
The case has reignited concerns over violent crimes on South African farms, including both attacks on farmers and abuse of farm workers. The trial will continue next month.
