SPECULATIONS have trailed the horrific death of Adekolure Idowu Glory, a fresh graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), by unknown assailants.
Glory had completed her program in UNIBEN and visited the school to process her clearance ahead of her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
On her way home on Thursday, June 13, 2024, the 22-year-old was attacked by unknown assailants who beat her up, raped her, and killed her, leaving her corpse close to her family’s home in Iyowa community, Benin, Edo State .
While the identity of Glory’s killers are yet unknown, the horrific incident has since sent chills, leaving many to speculate.
A netizen identified as @Gottianthione on X cried, “Uniben na cult headquarter 4 naija.. God forbid. After 4 years, wasted. Plus the criminals n the school wey no. talk God go punish all of them join.”
