SPEAKER, Edo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku has received the leadership and members of Ora-Ekpen Development Association , which comprises of leaders of thought in Ora, Owan West.
Rt.Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku said he’s position as Speaker is for the people especially Ora people who have been marginalized in time past ,but he thanked God for this elevation which will bring development and growth to Ora and Owan in general.
The Speaker urged the leadership and members of ODA to continue to pray for his success, give him advise and support him in all his endeavors as Speaker of the House of Assembly.
Mr Speaker called on the elders and leaders to in future Wade into crisis or legal tussle between Ora indigenes so as to always bring peace and development for the betterment of people.
He noted that the needless spending on legal cases was uncalled for as the Money would have been sinked into various projects for the betterment of Ora , disclosing that work on the electrification of Eme Ora has commenced and he would ensure its completion.
The Speaker thanked members of the Association for the visit promising not to betray the confidence reposed in him and make them proud.
Earlier , President of the Association,Sir Noble Donatus Agbebaku Igboin ,stated that they were in the office of the Speaker, to congratulate him on his victory at the polls and elevation to the position of Speaker of the 8th House of Assembly.
Sir Igboin disclosed that Ora has been marginalized in earlier appointments but thanked God for the elevation of the Speaker, stressing that the needed development in Ora and Owan would not elude the people.
The ODA President noted that the tenure of the Speaker would be a great blessing to Ora and Owan in general.
