On Labour Party Chairman, Barr Julius Abure’s Attempted Assasination And His Burnt Abuja House

READING the reactions of some people on different platforms of supposed stakeholders of Labour Party gives me reasons to worry about the manner of human beings some people have become.

No matter what you have against Abure, I expected that in the time of grief we should put aside everyone’s wrongs and give consolation to the victims. Celebrating the misfortune of your enemies makes you an enemy of God….

Proverbs 24:17-18 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles, lest the LORD see it and be displeased, and turn away his anger from him.

Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you.” In this sentence, Paul has summarized the biblical message: that we are to be kind, compassionate and forgiving.

Let’s not forget that there’s no permanent enemies, because God knows the way of everyone and he works in the hearts of all.

Proverbs 16: 7
When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Proverbs 24: 17
A wise person is not violent nor predatory; he does not gloat over a defeated enemy, as we are all subject to God’s judgment.

Proverbs 24:16 “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

Abure surely will rise and recover his losses… you need to be careful not to fall into mischief because of your hatred for Abure.
