FREEPRESS – The National Leadership of Labour Party condemns the moves by NLC to destabilize the Party. The National Chairman said this in Abuja while reacting to the opening/launching of illegal FCT Office of Labour Party in Labour House. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam told journalist that it is laughable.
He however, advised the NLC to concentrate on his traditional role of defending the interest and welfare of workers whom he said are currently being exploited and cheated.
He stated further that workers are unduly retrenched in their thousand and others are owed salaries for several months without being paid across the Federation. He lamented that workers take home pay cannot take them home.
He reminded Ayuba Wabba that it is unlawful for him to spend workers money check off dues on matters of Politics. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam concluded by admonishing Ayuba Wabba to spend his remaining time in office to work for the workers and avoid being meddlesome interloper into Labour Party’s Affairs.
