Eid al-Adha: Hon. Dr Uyi Oduwa-Malaka Celebrates With Edo Muslims

THE Honourable Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism, Edo State, Hon. Dr. Uyi Oduwa-Malaka, has sent her warm greetings to the Muslims in Edo State, as they celebrate Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid-el Kabir. Describing the celebration as a glorious day in Islamic history all over the world.

She exhorted the faithfuls to use this period to reflect on whatever values they can get from the festival and imbibe them.

She also urged them to continue in those good deeds that will promote the wellbeing of our dear State, Edo, as Governor Godwin Obaseki remains committed to realizing the Making Edo Great Again (MEGA) agenda.

She further commended the spirit of religious tolerance in the State and enjoined all to maintain the peace, in order to continue to build a stronger and more united Edo.

“On behalf of the Ministry, I want to thank you all for your support and cooperation, since the inception of this administration. It should continue to be so.”
