“Interestingly, despite the diverstating effects of the pandemic, we still stand strong and determined to move on to greater heights.
This unwavering resolve to keep hope alive, is encouraging and worthy of acknowledgement.
This occasion has further reinforced my belief that “the great people of Akoko-Edo are truly a special breed from God. You have demonstrated resilience and, you have shown absolute faith in God, through your actions and deeds all through the challenging times.
“On this occasion, as representative of all, I join the host of heavens to celebrate with you, the good people of Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency, for successfully making it into year 2021. It is my hope and prayer that this year will be much better than previous years.
“I want to use this opportunity to assure you once again, of my Social Contract, to serve in good faith and with total commitment, for which reason “I can never forget my people”.
“Permit me to use this medium once again, to appreciate the kind comments, encouragements and prayers from most of you across party, religious and ethnic divides in acknowledgement of the ongoing Constituency projects and empowerment programmes in the entire Constituency.
“It is also my wish to let you know that you made it possible, by deciding to blaze the trail of third term at the 2019 general elections. It is my prayer that God, will continue to protect and help us to attract greater dividends of democracy to our people.
“Let me equally inform you that consultations and preliminary works are in the making towards the convocation of an all-inclusive AKOKO-EDO SUMMIT which will enable us to brainstorm and do an indept analysis of our challenges, with a view to generating far reaching recommendations for the development of our dear Local Government and its people.
“Once again, I wish you all a happy new year 2021”, he said.
