THERE is palpable tension over attempted jailbreak in Ubiaja, the administrative headquarter of Esan South East local government area following when prison inmates staged attacks and almost overpowered the prison arms guard.
The gallantry displayed by officers of Ubiaja police station led by the DPO repelled attacks from the inmates.
An eyewitness accounts revealed that there were heavy gun fires within the vicinity while the attack lasted.
