VIDEONEWS: BREAKING: Many Feared Dead As Train Collides With Loaded BRT Bus In Lagos
Trojan.com.ng gathered that Many people reportedly lost their lives, while several others were injured in an accident involving a train and BRT bus loaded with passengers in Ikeja, Lagos, this morning.
According to a report, the accident occurred about 8am at the popular PWD railway crossing at Ladipo bus stop along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
The bus which was coming from Ikotun, in Alimosho Local government area, was less than a kilometre to its destination in Ikeja when the accident.
Online footage of the accident shows eyewitnesses trying to rescue some of the trapped passengers.
The injured passengers have been moved to the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, where all routine services have been put on hold in order to attend to the injured survivors.
