Indigenous protesters at varsity’s main gate in Ekpoma, set out to prepare lunch, after defying police and military presence, upon successful grounding of activities for today in state owned Ambrose Alli University.

The protesters this morning mounted canopies at the entrance to the state varsity’s main gate, to block flow of human and vehicular movement, as they embarked on protest.

Students who had exams to write today, were denied access into the varsity, while students who sought to take alternate routes into the university, were turned back, by indigenous boys within the university community.
