Super Six Tournament: Edo Born Ex Eagles’ Player Charges Edo Queen On winning Tournament

Edo Born Former Super Eagles Star, Kingsley ‘BELELE’ Igbinovia, is charging the Edo Queen Women Football Club, to Justify the commitment of the State Government by winning the Super Six Tournaments as well as qualify for the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League in Ijebu-Ode.
Igbinovia also urged that the Country’s Sport commission and all relevant Stakeholders should continue to seek youths involvement in sports development which he noted will reduce the rising unemployment in the Country.
While Speaking to Newsmen in BENIN City, ahead of the Super Six Women Tournaments taking off on Monday, April 19, 2021, he commended President Muhammadu Buhari for trusting the State government, Local Organizing Committee, headed by Rt Hon Comrade, Philip Shaibu, who doubles as the deputy Governor, in hosting a successful event in the state.
Igbinovia, maintained that, efforts placed in engaging youths in sport development, would go along way to reducing crimes in the society.
He, also lauded the state, for coming second in the just concluded National Sport Festival, hosted and Christened, “Edo 2020”, a development, he pointed, is leeway to winning the 2022 sport Festival, which would be hosted by the winner of the 2020 Edition, Delta State.
The Sport enthusiast, says he is optimistic that his State, Edo, can convincingly conquer in the next Edition of the Largest Games event in the Country to be hosted by Delta, if they are able to sustain the level of commitment exhibited in Edo 2020.
Edo Queens came fourth in the 2020/2021 Nigeria Women Football League NWFL Premiership with 23 points from 13 matches to Qualify for the Super Six Tournaments.
The Super Six Tournaments’ Clubs including, Bayelsa Queens of Yenegua, Delta Queens of Asaba, Rivers Angels of Portharcourt, FC Robo of Lagos, Sunshine Queens of Akure as well as Edo Queens will square up starting tomorrow in Ijebu Ode.
