Stakeholders Call For Prosecution Of Edo Political Thugs Who Attacked Domingo, Ehanire

STAKEHOLDERS of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have called on relevant authorities to prosecute imported Edo Political touts who attacked Senator Domingo Obende and the Minister of Health, Dr. Ehigie Ehanire at the just concluded APC National convention in Abuja last week.
In a terse response to earlier report on the unfortunate incident Mr. Taiwo Akerele said, “Please tell them to prosecute those who molested Senator Domingo Obende and Hon Minister Ehanire.
“Because this was how thugs where hired to molest Oshiomole in his house in Benin in 2019 and later my house was ransacked when I resigned from government in 2020 and now Senator Domingo Obende and minister are also victims, who is next?
“In this case the videos are there and we can see very clearly those who attacked and pushed the senator.
“APC in Edo should sit down and carry out a surgical analysis of what led to our failure”, Akerele told our correspondent in Abuja.
Also, Mr. Osato Ijiebor said, “The video is there to show if the boy who attacked him and push him is a thug. I don’t like generalizing things.
“Those who made us loss the entire Edo south were all seated in front row and nobody attacked him.
“I don’t like selective justice. If we must attack all those who made us loss, let’s attack all of them. Are you aware people built mansions after the elections with Captain Hosa money immediately after the elections in Benin? What could be more anti party than that?
“Have you not watched the video where Odubu, Airhavbere and Ogumweyin mocked Pastor recently?
“We should not allow them to always use Akoko Edo as a whipping child in every thing. Its  Domingo today we don’t know who tomorrow”.
Similarly, Mr. Sam Otabor, a leader in Edo South Senatorial District cautioned against such attacks against political leaders.
“All those behind these attacks on individuals and those who watched with excitement should be mindful of the fact that what goes around comes around. It’s Ehanire and Domingo today it could be anybody tomorrow”, Otabor said.
