1. ONE of the four(4) abducted farmers around Ikiran Ile/Ugboshi Afe farm land, Mr Summy Dania(Ugboshi Afe) has been reportedly killed and dumped into River Ose by his abductors while the other three(3) farmers he was abducted alongeside with have been released last Sunday after paying one million naira ransome.
2. Recall that The PlatformNews.Com reported last week that the Commander of Okpameri Vigilante Central Command(CENTCOM) and Edo North Vigilante Group of Nigeria(VGN) Leader, Pastor Cletus Adele was attacked and his vehicle shot at severally at Ogugu Junction
3. We also reported that Mr Isaac Dongo from Lampese, a farmer and photographer was abducted from his farm in Lampese since May 18, 2022 and his abductors are yet to establish contact with his family
4. Furthermore, credible information from farmers has revealed that these kidnappers/bandits masquerading as herdsmen have been seen in recent times in our forests
5. Saturday June 11 , 2022, the Catholic Bishop of Auchi Dr G.G Dunia who was represented by Rev. Fr Clement Anaedevha in his remark at the One Day Seminat on peaceful Coexistence on Akoko Edo organized by The Diocese of Auchi , Deanery 1, Akoko Edo iurged Sasaro , Igarra, Atte, Ekpesa , Imoga , Ekor , Lampese, Ekpe, Ikakumo to mention but a few to reconsider their partnership with herdsmen in their land because of Akoko Edo people
6. Sunday 12, 2022, kidnappers masquerading as herdsmen invaded Ugboshi Ele until the youths ,vigilante and hunters mobilized themselves to resist them
7. Akoko Edo Security Network is planning to meet with Akoko Edob Traditional Rulers to assess and evaluate the situation for the way forward
