The likes of Erasmus Ikhide, John Mayaki, Victor Osehobo Ofure, Comrade Eranomigho, Comrade Bob Manuel Umoru, Liborous Oshoma, Hon.Prince Kassim Afegbua, Sabastine Ebhoumhan, and one of their dubious cronies and a perp of his kind called Mr Lazarus Imokhai Adoloro, chairman of National Union of Local Government Employees with several of his likes that have pitched their ugly tents and tentacles against his Excellency the Governor of Edo state, Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki’s prowess, doggedness, positive ruggedness will have to continuously delude themselves in hallucination and obsession would continuously delude themselves in hallucination and obsession and fall with their faces down to the knees and feet of His Excellency.
As a retrospect or reminiscence by the statement made by NULGE chairman about (5) five months. That his Excellency the Governor of Edo state is killing Local Government in Edo state without a substantive evidence. Rather to riddle his Excellency’s reputation.
Reaction to NULGE Chairman’s Statement
The statement was fallacious and ludicrous based on the prevailing and underlying circumstances meted on the local government as at that time.

According to the chairman of NULGE National Union of Local Government Employees
Mr Lazarus Adorolo who accused the Governor, His Excellency Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki of Constitutional crime against the councils of the Edo State in an interview granted by NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA( NAN) in Benin city about 5 months ago.
He stated and revealed how Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki is killing the Local government systems in the state.
These statements are fallacious, illogical, falsehood, in-consequential and lack merits with the following reasons
The State Commissioner of local government and community affairs Mr Monday Osaigbovo denied the allegation and attributed the problem of Local Government to be over staffing. Making the local government staff becoming so indolent, less pro-active, In-active, in-effective, and recessive in the bureaucratic processes.
The State Commissioner stated he is not aware that there is a constitutional right or law passed by the state house of assembly as regards 10 percent IGR- Internally Generated Revenue contribution to the local government councils as required. The Commissioner however stated that the state is doing more than 10 percent at that time.
The Commissioner said that the state has practically taken over the responsibility of the councils because the local government are weak financially and do not have good capacity building development to be more efficient and effective and as such cannot generate income through resource control.
Since there is no elected official as at that time the Head of Service was fully involved in the affairs of the Local Government Councils then.
Another reason is the issue of poor payment of taxes and other rates are also responsible for the dwindling fortune of the local government councils. These were the few facts attribute to local government of the state.
It’s therefore implies that Mr Lazarus Imokhai Adoloro could not hypothetically give a concrete and convincing reasons at the interview granted by News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN)how his excellency is Killing the local government structures. His reasons lack merit, very vague, ambiguous and bleak.
Thank God for the presence of the Commissioner of local government and community affairs who was able to enlighten the populace of Edo state and put things right through facts and evidence.
Edo must move forward.
