PHOTONEWS: Kidnapped APC Campaign DG Found Dead In Rivers State

A Campaign Director General of Tonye Cole, All Progressive Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate in Rivers State, has been found dead, Trojan.com.ng reports.

The APC campaign director for Ahoada West was reportedly kidnapped earlier in the build-up to Saturday’s governorship and house of assembly elections.

The politician was discovered in a pool of his own blood on Saturday evening, his body riddled with bullets. The state police command had not issued an official statement on the incident, as at the time of this report.

A graphic video of the deceased lying in a pool of his own blood was posted on Twitter with the caption;

“Tonye Cole Campaign DG of Ahoada West who was whisked away from a polling unit earlier today has been found dead.
I am meant to understand that the Tonye Cole’s LGA coordinator that was killed is Chisom Leonard.

He was the LGA coordinator for the Rivers APC candidate in Ahoada West…

He was abducted earlier today and later found dead.
