THE entire Ayedun Community is in carnival mode today as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered as early as 8 am this morning in Awolusi compound to celebrate Engr. Muftau Awolusi who turns 50 today.
Our correspondent gathered that a birthday celebration that was initially billed to be low-key was escalated by jubilant sons and daughters of the community who could not hide their joy and love for the celebrant whom they tagged as the man of the people whose influence in the community has won the heart of so many people across family divide and religion.
Engr Awolusi who is a technical staff of Dubri Oil Lagos, the first indigenous Oil Company in Nigeria was born in 1973 to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Awolusi in Ayedun Oke-ero Local Government of Kwara State.
