Notorious Criminal, Clement Goubadia Alias Babuze Kills Mr Frank Efeiri With AK47 Rifle In Police Presence In Edo
A NOTORIOUS criminal named Clement Goubadia alias Babuze allegedly killed one Mr Frank Efeiri in the presence of a Police officer in Ikhuenobo community in Edo State, South-South Nigeria.
One of the eye witnesses in Ikhuenobo community where the unfortunate incident occurred told Trojan.com.ng reporter how Clement Goubadia stormed the community in the early hours of on the 7th of June, 2022 alongside over fifty other armed criminals to carry the dastardly act.

“On the 7th of June this month, Iguomo community boys invaded Ikhuenobo community with three hilux vehicles with over fifty boys with Pump Action rifles and AK47s to challenge a guy who heat one of their cars the previous day.
“Before we knew what was happening, Clement Goubadia opened his AK47 rifle on Frank Efeiri and killed him instantly. He subsequently attacked a DPS named Mr Onyeka a police officer from Okhue Police Division who was invited for settlement; shot the four tyres of the police vehicle the police officer came with, seized his ID card, removed his money from his wallet before they disappeared from the community.

“Mr Julius Okundaye, a police Sergeant attached to Godspower Osagie’s office, the former head of Intelligence Response Team (IRT) is a cousin to Babuze. He’s the one who has been giving guns and ammunition to Babuze to terrorize Benin City and its environs.
“Inspector Okundaye is on the payroll of Babuze for supplying him arms and ammunition as well as giving him information on the police move to have him arrested.
“Early this year, the Ohen of Ikhuenobo’s community Palace was attacked, three of his cars were burned down by the same Clement Goubadia alias Babuze with his fellow assailants, in the process one Mr Nero Ajayi was arrested.
“Incidentally, Mr Nero confessed to being in possession of Pump Action Rifles in his house but when his wife was contacted by the police officers investigating case, she told them that Inspector Julius Okundaye came to the house to remove the guns the previous night in Iguomo community.
“In spite of the gun running crimes and killings of innocent Edo citizens the police keep covering up the crimes and criminal activities of Clement Goubadia, alias Babuze.
“The new Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Abutu Yaro has done his best by ordering investigation into the killing of the law abiding innocent citizen in the person of late Frank Efeiri who became a victim of gun running murdering syndicate that has the protection of police officers in the State”, the witness told our correspondent.

When contacted, DPS Onyeka and the the Division Police Officer in charge of Okhue Police Division, Mr Ayodele Chuks confirmed to our correspondent that Clement Goubadia alias Babuze actually killed Frank Efeiri in the presence of the police officer who went to the community to settle a dispute of cars accident that very morning.
The state Police Commissioner, Mr Abutu Yaro confided in Trojan.com.ng reporter that police authority is probing police officers’ act of alleged compromise and covering up of criminal elements in the two communities.
“We’re probing police actions in Iguomo and Ikhuenobo communities and all the reported crimes will be dealt with in the shortest possible time”, Mr Yaro said.
