*Notice to all Legacy PDP Candidates and members.*
It has come to our notice that the camp of the government of Edo State has masterminded plans to humiliate our candidates tomorrow at the Atiku Campaign rally slated for tomorrow, Friday, 22nd, 2022. They have started sending money to LGAs and wards for our members to bring 15 persons each since they know their members would not be able to fill in the stadium. However, the bottom line of the scheme is to raise the arms of their camp’s members as the authentic candidates for the general election thereby relegating our members to the background, which will amount to serious humiliation. It was also gathered from reliable sources that our members and candidates would be booed during the rally for being opposed to the government’s camp.
It is therefore instructive without mincing words that members of Legacy PDP and their respective candidates should avoid the trap that has been set for them by not attending the rally.
We the supporters will mark any of our candidates who attend as *persona non grata* if he or she attends under any guise. We shall summarily withdraw our support from such an individual after Friday.
All candidates and members should please take note. If you have plans to attend, change it, if you have collected mobilization fee, you either use it and stand by your actions or return it.
