Dispelling the rumour to journalists in the state Capital Zonal Police Public Relation Officer Abubakar Zaiyyanu Anbursa has described the purported attacked by Boko Haram as reported by a section of the Media as a blatan lie as well as an attempt to tarnish the good name of the Zonal Command.

Anbursa said there was nothing that happened like that and even when he heard the News ” i rushed to the Zonal office to see things for my self but found out to be untrue.

It was a story cooked and unverifiably released to the public without following the normal procedure of balancing as required by the Journalism Profession.

He said this is yellow journalism where every thing that comes the way of a Media platform would be published without authenticating the facts stands condemnable

” We used to assigned our men at the gate every Friday to keep vigil but when i reached the office they have already finished their work and left leaving the guard men who later informed me that there wasn’t any attack .” I kept wondering where could have been the source of that unsubstantiated story.

He however used the opportunity to called on members of the general public to go about their normal businesses and disregard the said report for it lacks merit.
