INSECURITY: 34 Buried, As Boko Haram Kills Over 100 Farmers, Loot Properties in Yobe Community
Reports from DW Hausa radio say this is the funeral of 34 out of over 100 persons killed by BOKO Haram in Mafa town under the Tarmuwa Local Government area of Yobe State. It was gathered that the terrorists came in and killed over 100 people at farming settlements and villages, which are mainly farmers and local residents.
According to the report made available to Trojan.com.ng, residents have all escaped from the town; the town is virtually empty, and everyone left with their families and belongings. The town is currently deserted

The Tarmuwa information office added that yesterday, being 3rd September, 2024, over 100 persons were recorded killed by BOKO Haram and the whole town looted.
