THE newly appointed Kano state Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Alhaji Adamu Fanda, New Kano Finance Comm promised to operate an open door policy in order to give the people a chance to easily intract with his office to attain maximum results.
Alhaji Abdu Fanda stated this during a brief Meeting with the Management and middle cadre Staff of the Ministry immediately on his assumption of office yesterday.
In a statement signed by the public relations officer, of the ministry Bashir Habib Yahaya, qouted Adamu Fanda as persuading the personnel to give their maximum support and cooperation to justify confidence repose on him by the state government.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry, Dr. Lawan Shehu Abdulwahab welcomed and assured the Commissioner of their unflinching support and loyalty to discharge of his official mandate.
Dr. Lawan also prayed to Almighty Allah to guide the new commissioner towards solving the challenges of the ministry amicably and with passion.
Those in the entourage of the Commissioner includes, Honorable Sunusi Usman Batayya, State Assembly member representing Albasu, Honorable Chairman of Albasu Local Government Council, Alhaji Ma’azu Abubakar and former Kano state Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Umar Faragai among others.
