THE Honourable member representing the people of Etsako Federal Constituency of Edo State at the National Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Environment, the Rt. Hon. Johnson Egwakhide Oghuma has left no one in doubt as regards where Etsako should be as a constituency through his past and present untiring efforts at attracting community and constituency projects to the people he represents at the National Assembly, and such efforts had continued to pay off.
A great deal of the legislator’s efforts to attract these projects to various communities across the constituency was put up early enough through series of negotiations and follow-up to ensure their inclusion in the national budget of 2019  before the coming on board of the current Federal cabinet. Notable amongst these ongoing projects  are itemized as follows:
Iviukhua/ Iviegbepui /Ivbianokpodi / Iviebua road in Etsako East, Ogbona-Ekperi road in Etsako Central, Okugbe-Imiekuri road in Etsako East, through the NDDC, Aviele-Iyakpi rural access road, Rehabilitation of Iviakpi to Aviele Ekhie Girls road popularly known as campus 2 road in Etsako West.
Added to this as shown overleaf is the construction of modern markets in the following communities of Agbede, Jattu, Uzairue and Uchi Auchi, plus the construction of solar-powered boreholes in Afokpella and Admiral Okhai Mike Akhigbe way, fugar, all of which were captured in the 2019 budget as a fallout of the prior request made in 2018 to the ministries concerned as reflected in the attachment.
Let us also note with joy that work on the ongoing construction of Unuodegor Agenebode road would soon be resumed by the contractor as funds have already been allocated to that, and as well,  the manifestation of similar efforts could be noticed at the ongoing rehabilitation of South Ibie-Mechanic site road. It can only get better for Etsako as a people.
