Gun Men Kidnapped Village Head in Kano Killed 6
Unknown gun men have attacked Karfi village in Takai local government area of Kano state and kidnapped the Village head of Karfi after killing five people leaving them languishing in their own pool of blood.
According to a source close to the Traditional title holder who didn’t want to be mentioned in the story said the gun men struck around 11 pm on Saturday on Motorbikes with one carrying two men and the other one person on the back of the Motorcycle .
According to sources the gun men on arrival went straight into the house of the Village head Alhaji Abdul hayatu Ilu Karfi forcefully brought him outside and zoom -off with him on their bike.
Mean while when one of his neighbours heard an unsual sound he boldly came out to see things for himself on sighting him they quickly opened fire on him he fell down and died instantly.
Leadership further gathered that when the gun men were on their way out of Karfi Village on high speed, the story turned sour when they reached Tudun Makama a neighbouring Village one of the riders droved off- track and fell down with the Motor bike which was carrying the traditional title holder and that was what attracted some Villagers to the come to come to the scene of the accident.
Realising that the Villagers at Tudun Makama’s attention were attracted by the nasty sound and felt that they would offer a helping hand to them only for the gun men to open fire on them killing five them instantly.
However, from there they left the town and sped off not until when one of them fell down from the bike and coincidally was the one carrying the district head at a Village called Tudun Makama .
Our source gave the names of the deceased persons as Tasi’u Birniyo Karfi, Ali Yahaya, Hashimu Amo, Sadiqu Hussaini, Amadu Bakin Danlambu, Bala Audu, Shua’ibu Agwarmaji from Bauchi state.
About three of the victims Almu Hashimu, Ashiru Yahaya, and Abdu Alhazai are currently responding to treatment in a Medical facility at Birnin Kudu local government area of Jigawa state as a result of the injuries they sustained following the gun shot advanced by the night marauders.
Althouh the District head attempted to run away from the scene of the accident but the sustained gun shots targetted at him while on his heels scared him intercepted and brought back at gun point.
On contact with the Chairman of Takai local government Alhaji Muhammad Baffa Takai confirmed the incident and said the matter was reported to the Police and other relevant Security operatives in the area.
Like wise the PPRO of Police SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa also confirmed the incident and said the Police are doing their best to fish out the perpetrators of the act.
