The Reviewing officer AVM CT DII Rtd and twenty Eight of his Colleagues who take a bow from active service 35 and 36 regular Courses called on Air men and Women of the service to uphold their good legacies and continue to build on the modest achievements of the retiring officers to overcome security challenges bedevilling against the nation.

Making the disclosure in a Farewell Speech of the Reviewing officers at the Pulling out Ceremony of the Retired officers held at the Air force Base in Kano on Saturday.

According to him ” I am honoured to be part of this Colourful Pulling out Ceremony today . Let me on behalf of all my Colleagues with whom i have weathered the storm for 3 decades express our sincere gratitude to Almighty God for the rare privilege of witnessing this epic event”

He said ” i am awashed with the memories of our days at the Nigerian Defence Academy where our journey into the service began . We served together and collectively contribute to the success of the Nigerian Airforce and Nigeria as a nation.”

AVM CT rtd explained further that each day in the Nigeria Airforce was indeed a step towards achieving something new . There are tough and trying moments and they all contributed in transforming us to be better equipped to surmount the challenges of each responsibility bestowed on our shoulders during our days in service.

CT rtd said as ” we bow out of service we want to appreciate all the support and assistance we got from you all throughout our service life.

We also appreciate the past and present leadership of the Country for the opportunity and support given to us

I will like to wholeheartedly thank the Chief of the Air Staff for his magnanimity in organising this memorable event to honour us”

” We are glad that the the Nigerian Airforce under the leadership of Air Mashal Oladayo Amao still considered us worthy of honour”

A Parade of honour was mounted to honour the retiring officers at the Airforce Base a beffiting match pass for them and their spouses.
