The licked video from the school WhatsApp group captured Mr. Salami admitting that he erred by not following the proper channels to remove his daughter from the school without the school authority’s approval.
Mr. Bello Salami, husband to the embattled Parents Teachers Association’s (PTA) chairperson is reported to be up in arms, baying for legal battles despite the indicating video.
“DISCLAIMER
Sequel to an earlier video posted in our local WhatsApp group captioned ” Mr Bello at Omigie hostel” and which unknown person(s) misrepresented and forwarded to social media, we hereby disown the  misrepresentation which alleged that Mr Bello came to abduct students”, the press statement signed by Chidi J. O. (Mr) Vp (Academic) Senior School For: Management FGGC, Benin City reads.
Trojan.com.ng correspondent in Benin City reported the story of the incident on February 2, 2022 that Mr. Salami had sneaked his way into the school premises to remove his daughter without authorisations from the school against the agreed norms, which amounts to abduction. The story didn’t include that Mr Salami came to abduct “student(s)”, as contained in the school press release.
