Checkers Appoints Ali Nuhu, Film Celebrity As It’s Ambassador In Nigeria, By ABDULLAHI RABIU, Kano 

AN Indian firm based in Nigeria Checkers Custard has appointed a  film Celebrity and King of Kannywood Sarki Ali Nuhu  as it’s brand Ambassador in Nigeria based on his popularity among the Nigerian youths  and it’s teeming Customers across the Country.

Ali Nuhu who was ushered in on a red Carpet at a well attended occasion held at the Presidential wing of Tahir Guest Palace on Wednesday  will as from today try his best to help Market the product throughout Nigeria .

In an interview with the newly crowned Checkers Ambassador shortly after he was crowned at Tahir Guest Palace said he has been using Checkers Custard since his Childhood and  the taste and the flovour is good for both Children and grown ups.

” I will as from today work to justify the confidence reposed in me by the company. It is one thing to be appointed an Ambassador and another thing to proved your mettle for the progress and popularity of the brand.

I will do as I have been doing to other brands  and by the grace of God the product will improve its  sales with my coming especially during the Ramadan fast when people will need the drink to add on their menues.”

On his part the Managing Director of African Checkers Ltd Mr Karan Checkers who came in all the way from Lagos Described  the choice of Ali Nuhu as the Checkers Ambassador  due to  his fame and as a King of the Kannywood Industry.
