FREEPRESS – ERASMUS IKHIDE, a known fire brand warrior of the pen and an antagonist of any government in power that lack transparency and failed to deliver the dividend of democracy to the electorate, amongst whom are former president Goodluck Jonathan, President Mohammadu Buhari, Governor Godwin Obaseki, Adams Oshiomhole to mention but a few has remained an enigma.
The social media earlier in the day has been awash and agog with the news and allegation that Mr. Erasmus collected the sum N10m from Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to slander Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki and his government.
The post reads thus “ERASMUS IKHIDE, A PEN FOR HIRE, has been engaged and paid the sum of N10M, as first tranch payment to launch a media campaign against Governor Godwin Obaseki and his government. This is coming after the camp of the self styled Edo State Political Godfather and National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has adjudged the efforts of it’s foremost hireling/media hack, Mr John Mayaki as completely ineffectual”.
On seeing this, the camp of Governor Godwin Obaseki purportedly induced Mr. Erasmus Ikhide with the sum N30million to dump the national chairman of the APC to now launch a media campaign against the former Comrade Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
