BREAKING: Col. Agbu Kefas Wins Taraba Governorship Election In A Landslide

PDP Governorship Candidate, Lt col, Agbu Kefas (rtd) wins the Taraba Governorship in a tightly contested race. Kefas polled a total of 236, 712 votes with the NNPP and APC trailing at second and third place respectively.

Spokesman of Kefas, Emmanuel Bello attributed the success to the doggedness of the electorate and the campaign council. He said the victory is an indication of the dominance of the PDP in the state. He further said that the youths are the real owners of the success for the role they played. He noted that Kefas would make the Youths the center piece of his administration by major empowerment policies. Bello said Kefas would achieve alot in his first hundred days in office including paying off salaries backlog to civil servants in the state.

Speaking on the victory too, Chieftain of the PDP in Taraba state, Hon Nuru Dantsoho said the victory is a vindication of the party’s performance in the state. Congratulating Kefas, he said the state would experience massive development.

In his comments, a governorship candidate of the AAC, Dr David Charima said Kefas emergence would usher in greater unity and peace in the state. He said he has no doubt Kefas would perform creditably well.

PDP Candidate, Kefas Agbu Wins Taraba Governorship Election

The governorship candidate of the PDP in Taraba state, Kefas Agbu has emerged winner of the election.

Kefas Agbu defeated his closest rival from NNPP, Prof Sani Yahaya and Senator Emmanuel Bwacha of the APC in the election results declared.

Out of the 16 local governments, Kefas won 11 while NNPP and APC won 3 and 2 respectively.
