Activist Paints A Fair Picture Situation In Delta PDP, Cautions Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa On Where To Look In Delta State In Come 2023

HOWEVER, in our quest to engage in Public/Political Analysis, we will endeavour to remain neutral as Activists. I am conscious of our roles in galvanizing support for right governance, but I like us to make our interest clear about no choice in particular but to support good political decisions that will bring about positive change in lives of the people.
Kindly take note that in our previous analysis, we  raised points, which are germane and good. But for us as Activists, expansive political decisions that will touch well on the masses are key and very important.
Below are some of the bad moves by the current Governor of Delta State:_
1. Gov. Okowa is wrong to adopt his daughter mandatory by denying and depriving other youths who have interests to contest for Delta State House of Assembly 2023.
2. Gov. Okowa is letting his bitterness and determination to outwit Chief James Ibori*
has put *huge problems in the Delta State PDP which if proper care is not taken could lead to the split of PDP a.k.a “The Fall of Delta State PDP”.
_3. Gov. Okowa has every reason to decide the direction of his party so long it brings result. But I condemn any attempt to entrench self interest by using a cohort._
_4. Gov. Okowa has not done so well to roundly win the people’s support in the event of an election._
A. Poor management of the retirees entitlements.
B. Non pensions payment leaving a good number of electorates disgruntled.*
*C. He has not managed the Housing deficit situation in Asaba well. It is a chaotic situation that rents are now astronomical and it’s unbearable, yet he chose to give the silent treatment to Deltans.
D. He hasn’t managed the overwhelming goodwill of the Delta North properly. There is so much reservation about how he has managed that Mandate, favouring so much his acolytes and people.
E. The business handling of the state’s viable ventures leaves much to be desired. Cases like the Asaba airport, Delta Line, Ogbeogonogo Ext. Market, The Motor Spare Parts Market, etc is injurious to the political health of his administration.
F. The Widows Support Scheme is stability handled and it is shrouded in secrecy and open to fraud.
G. The Youth Empowerment programmes done in clusters has not yielded the expected result. Only the connected youths are considered.
*Delta State govt spends so much on providing huge supports to the security agencies, but the resultant effects are minimal. Threats to life is common all over the state, especially with the marauding herdsmen. Spill over of criminals from across the River Niger with the coming of Gov. Soludo and his riot acts read to the urchins, brigade, hoodlums and vagabonds.
On the whole, Gov. Okowa must find a way to harness the bitter TRUTH, of which if handled properly, it will allow him to galvanised popular votes when the time comes. On our part as Activists Community, ours is to seek and commend any government that can make masses the heart of its policies.
Good insecurity is at alarming rate in Delta State. Farmers are scared to go to their farms to cultivate and provide for us and themselves. Agriculture extension projects alone like fish farming. Poultry farming, livestock farming are all support ventures to real staple foods cultivation.
Much more more should be done to banish hunger out of our dear state.
